Here at Skyview Glass we are experts in commercial grade windows and glass. We provide aluminum storefront and curtain wall framing systems and the associated glass and entrance hardware for our customers.

Skyview Glass Key Players
In March of 2006 an expert in the Glass Industry with over 32 years of experience, Tom Trolley, founded Skyview Glass and helped make the company what it is today. In July of 2019, Tom Trolley retired and passed the reigns over to the current owners Gavin Fothergill and Nate Allen.
Gavin Fothergill
Gavin earned a Bachelor of Science in Management from Westminster College and a Masters of Business Administration from Vanderbilt University and is a principal of Skyview Glass. Gavin’s professional career spans over 20 years, with the majority of the time spent as an analyst, operator, or entrepreneur in various industries. Gavin began his professional career in the Health Care Industry. After gaining business management experience, Gavin acquired his first business, Adventure Time, While successfully implementing operating systems and procedures at Adventure Time, he finished his graduate work in business administration and was recruited by Proctor & Gamble where he honed his management and accounting skills as a Senior Financial Manager. In 2019, Gavin set his sights on a new challenge and acquired Skyview Glass with co-owner Nate Allen. He has shown success, increasing profitability even in the face of the COVID 19 pandemic.
Nate Allen
Nate holds a Master’s degree in architecture from the Chicago Illinois Institute of Technology which has given him a unique perspective on how to approach the challenges encountered in the construction industry. Over the past seven years Nate has been involved in administrative operations within Skyview Glass. He benefited from mentoring directly under the previous owner who had 30+ years of experience in the glass industry. His responsibilities have included managing project costs and schedules, as well as, implementing organizational and procedural improvements which have aided in expanding the capacity for the business to more than double its annual sales revenue, seeing an increase from $5M to $13M during those seven years. Nate has also developed relationships with key customers with whom the company does business, working closely with general contractors and architects in a consulting role for future projects in their developmental stages.

Estimating Department
Toph Pace
Toph Pace, received a Bachelorette Degree in Construction Management from Utah Valley University in 2010. In October 2011, Toph began his Glazing career with Jones Paint and Glass in St George and American Fork Utah. He worked as a glazier for 6 years for Jones Paint and Glass before coming to Skyview Glass. Toph was originally hired as a draftsman at Skyview Glass and doubled as a glazier in the field for the first six months of his first year. In 2018, his second year with Skyview Glass, Toph transitioned into an estimator. As an estimator Toph quickly brought in new acquisitions and insights helping Skyview Glass to grow. He continues to do great work and has become a very valuable member of the team.

Jim Faerber
Jim Faerber was accepted into the University of Utah and planned to study physics and music. In order to put himself through school Jim was a Glazier. While studying for several years and progressing in the ranks of the glazing industry, Jim found his calling. With over 39 years of experience in the glass industry as glazier, journeyman, and foreman, Jim is now a dedicated, key player in Skyview Glass's estimating department. Jim became an estimator for Skyview Glass in 2020. Jim has now been with Skyview Glass for ten years and as an estimator is bringing in new revenue and helping Skyview Glass reach new heights.

Troy Pace
Beginning as an installer and moving up the ranks quickly to Foreman, Troy gained 17 years of glass industry experience as an installer and foreman. With now 31 years of experience in the Commercial Glass Industry, Troy brings a level of workmanship that propels Skyview Glass forward. Skyview Glass is grateful for the experience and expertise of a project manager such as Troy.
